Franz Scherz has 30+ years of experience in IT Business and started his career as Services Engineer for business computers. In 1992 Franz joined Digital Equipment Corporation which was taken over by Compaq Computers later where he worked in various Sales and Management positions for South East European countries which continued after the merger between Compaq and HP. Since 2005 Franz is holding the position of Managing Director of HP CDG (Country development Group) being also directly responsible for HP’s Enterprise Business Group building up several local HP entities and offices in the countries to support local customer with HP’s products, software and service offerings. CDG contains the following countries: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Malta and Moldova.
