On Friday, 06/11/2015 at 12 pm. in the amphitheater of FSCE an invited lecture on Uniform distribution of sequences will be held by prof. Vasil Grozdanov, assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University "Neophyte Rilski" in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. We invite all interested to attend the event. In addition, a brief biography of prof. Vasil Grozdanov is provided: Dr. Vasil Stankov Grozdanov is an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University "Neophyte Rilski" in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. His research interests are focused on evenly distributed arrays, quantitative measures of equitable distribution - discrepancy, square discrepancy, discrepancy, as well as the application of these arrays in numerical methods in mathematics - Quasi Monte Carlo numerical integration. He graduated Mathematics at the University Paisii Hilendarski 'in 1986 Plovdiv, and his PhD in 1998 at the University Kliment Ohridski Sofia. Dr. Vasil Grozdanov attended twice specialization at the Institut de Mathematique de Luminy, Marseille, France, in 1997 and 2002. He was the scientific head of three students and a mentor to several master's graduates. Author of numerous scientific articles and several textbooks on mathematics analysis.
